Stages in Orgasm

Orgasm is condition in which men and women reach to climax at time of sex. Orgasm can be defined in four stages. Majority of women need clitoral stimulation in order to climax. Orgasm can be understood in following four stages.

Excitement phase: When women get sexual aroused blood vessels in their genital dilate. Blood flow increases to the vagina walls in this stage.
Plateau phase: In this stage blood flow to the lower third of vagina reaches its limit, causing the lower area of the vagina to become engorged and firm.
Orgasmic phase: orgasm is the pleasurable release of sexual tension that is built up in earlier stages. Most of women don’t experience recovery period that men do after orgasm and she may have another orgasm if she is stimulated again.
Resolution phase: In this phase body returns to normal state. Swelling reduces and breathing and heart beat rate slow down.

All the phase is crossed one by one. In very rare cases it is possible of simultaneous orgasm which means couple experience orgasm at same time. Women experience the orgasm sensation in vagina, clitoris and uterus.
